What's with the comment above? Looks like spam. I think the image has religious significance but not being either Spanish or Catholic, I can't think of what it is. I'm pretty sure I've seen a similar image before, tho. Don't you just love the way they incorporated the exhaust pipe into the art? Very creative! Elle/L
Yeah, the funny thing Blogger, and about putting a blog and comments on Blogger - I am unable to READ the whole comment before I can either delete it or post it - in most cases - even, (as in the top comment), if it may not make sense - I post it just the same. As for religious or non-religious representation - Mary usually wears a sky blue cloak/shawl, although in this case it may be a spiritual - but NON-religious figure portrayed - actually I don't care who it is - I just like it and want to immortalize it. When I started this blog in May 2007, it was for the sole purpose of staying in touch with friends and family while we traveled to Europe for three months. I am still staying in touch. "Traveller's Joy" clematis vitalba: Wildflower found throughout southwest Europe/Africa. Used for medicinal purposes and found "climbing and covering" the roadsides of Europe.
We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential. ~Ellen Goodman
